My work is driven by a deep need to explore themes of identity, diversity, ecology,
belonging, and marginalization. Having born in Tbilisi, Georgia and lived across multiple
borders - both physically and conceptually - I have developed an artistic language that
moves fluidly between film, photography, installation, video art, and socially engaged
practices. I collaborate with people, explore place-based narratives, and use found
materials to uncover hidden perspectives and question fixed systems.
Through experimental film (over ten short films), art installations, and photographic
projects, I investigate queerness, migration, cultural identity, and ecological fragility.
Much of my practice is rooted in community-based work, using art as a platform for
listening, dialogue, and mutual exchange. Projects such as Haeri, The Moving Gallery
of Diversity, and Scope / This Is War, What Is War?! - as well as many of my films—
emerged from both personal experience and shared social realities.
I see art not only as a form of aesthetic expression, but as a method of mediation -
between individuals, systems, inner lives, and collective experiences.
